Hotelreview: Holland Inn Hotel London

Holland Inn Hotel
59 Holland Rd,
London W14 8HL,
UK

We looked forward to staying in a hotel
with the footballname of our country.

At arrival they were not able to
give us two keycards,
which was agreed upon online.

We stayed in room 23.
A room in the basement.

We were welcomed by a sharp
stink of sewer.
We thought it was because the room
hadn't been occupied for a while.
So we flushed the toilet,
ran the water for a while,
put water in the drain of the shower,
and we opened the window.

The look upwards...

and straight forward.

.

To the right....

..and to the left.....

but the curtains were nice.
And the bed linen was clean,
the towels soft and sparkly white.

For those with a weak stomach,
I advice to go to another page...

Let me say we were happy
to have brought disinfectant with us.

I guess getting the right size
had been a huge problem.
Maybe all London DIY shops
ran out of the right size.

The shower was right beside the toilet.
There was no shower curtain.
The floor didn't drain well,
so the water ran all the way to the door.

We used a towel to prevent the water
from running into the room,
and to prevent us
from slipping on the wet floor.
(I nearly did!!)

Cleaning the room
was a challenge too, I assume.
The wet towel,
I hung on the sink,
was removed.
Not replaced.

Toilet rolls were not added.

But some rubbish was added:

A piece of paper..

and some hair....

and a plastic ring
with pins on one side,
so not nice to stand on
with bare feet.

And the dirt!!!

.

When we left
the sewer smell was still there.

This was not a happy experience
AT ALL!!!!!
